What power rights move with a campus bought from a generator?
Amazon paid $650 million for the Cumulus campus beside the Susquehanna nuclear plant. The power rights moved at closing. Talen’s wholesale and retail power purchase agreements were assigned to Amazon Energy, the campus retail PPA went to the buyer, and a new PPA was signed. The seller also confirmed the transmission line and substation easements that connect the campus to the plant. Its liability for breach of representations is capped at $50 million.
