Projected contracted cash flows
The cash a borrower expects to receive under its customer contracts, as modelled at signing. GPU loans are sized on it and test actual receipts against it.
How it works in a deal
Projected contracted cash flows are the payments due under signed customer contracts over the life of the loan. GPU lenders size facilities against them, usually applying a discount and a coverage ratio, so uncontracted capacity adds little or nothing to the loan amount.
Example. The GPU facility marketed by Goldman Sachs in September 2026 was sized at the lower of 75% of cost and a 1.30x debt service coverage ratio on contracted cash flows. Goldman-led GPU DDTL for Iceland →
