All-in financing cost

A cash-flow-based measure of financing expense that specifies the proceeds, interest, fees, discount and repayment assumptions included.

Why the distinction matters

Use dated net proceeds and payments to calculate an effective yield. Label annualised fee approximations as approximations and do not substitute them for a complete financing IRR.
