Data centre and GPU financing in the Americas
Read US project, property and compute financing on their own terms.
The register currently offers its clearest examples in the United States, alongside a broader historical universe. Coverage is not a census of the Americas, and the selected cases below should not be read as a regional market share or capital-flow series.
A campus and a cluster are different exposures
Vantage construction finance supports a development asset; CoreWeave facility histories concern compute-related borrowing. The borrower, collateral, operating costs and renewal risk differ. A data-centre label is not a sufficient comparison category for the financing cost.
Read lease support at obligation level
River Bend illustrates why a supported tenant obligation must be distinguished from a guarantee of project notes. The interactive credit-support case follows the disclosed relationships and keeps limitations beside the diagram.
Reconcile histories before measuring activity
Construction facility upsizes, securitisations and corporate notes can coexist within the same platform. Keep predecessor commitments and resulting totals attached to their history, rather than adding each headline amount into a measure of new capital.
Research priorities in this region
- Expected repayment and customer-contract tenor gaps
- Property refinance leverage and operating cash
- Growth capex, corporate converts and project funding
