Power is the gating item.

How a data centre gets connected, who goes first and what it pays for the grid, compared across jurisdictions. Each rule links to its tracker entry with the primary sources and the points for the loan documents.

What the power contracts say

The rules above set the frame; these clauses show what data centres have actually signed: a utility's minimum bill and exit fee, behind-the-meter turbines, and the power terms lenders take, each quoted from an SEC filing.

Method

Built from the regulatory tracker's grid and power entries, each written from the regulator, government or official journal text it links to, and from the planning decisions log. Where a regulator's site cannot be read automatically, the entry cites the government or official journal record instead. Status and dates can change after the review date, so check the source before relying on it. General information drawn from public filings. It is not legal advice on any transaction, and using this page does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Views are personal.
